Tin Barn Brewing is a craft brewery in the Chester, NY. Opened May 2020, we feature Hazy IPAs, Fruited Sours, and Imperial Stouts. All production positions will have great growth potential as the business expands and production increases.

Tin Barn Brewing is looking for a Cellarman and/or Packaging Technician to join their production team! Experience is greatly preferred but not necessary. Cross-training and having a working knowledge of all aspects of our production process, from wort production to cellaring, to kegging and canning, is the best fit for our brewery. A successful candidate will have mechanical aptitude and a willingness to participate in all aspects of the production process. This is an hourly full-time position that reports to our Co-Founder/Head Brewer and Assistant Brewer. Great potential for growth in the industry and future brewing production position. Apprenticeships with no prior experience are available to hard workers.

-Routine cleaning and maintenance  

-Breakdown, clean, and sanitize fermenters and other brewing equipment 

- Ability to be trained to operate and have knowledge of brewing equipment including (but not limited to) brewhouse process equipment, fermenters, pumps, grain mill and auger systems and other equipment as they relate to brewing.

-Ability to be trained to operate and maintain packaging equipment including (but not limited to) canning line, automated de-palletizer, twist rinser, can seamer, conveyor belts, can rinsers and dryers, automated date coder, labeler, accumulation conveyance systems, semi-automated bottling machine, keg washer and keg filler.

-Safely work with hazardous chemicals  

-Frequently lift 55lb bags  

-Choose good music stations  

-Cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning  

- Willingness to perform many other duties as needed, desired and assigned; must feel comfortable receiving direction  

-Must be able and willing to work a variable shift schedule that is dependent upon the operational needs of the brewery.

-Must be willing to be on call in the event of equipment failure or staffing production needs. Night shifts and weekend shifts may be required on rare occasions due to variations in production scheduling and maintenance for equipment.

**There will be a 1 month probationary period. Steel toe boots required. Rate reflects experience.**
