Leon High School's Lion Steel Canboulay and Bacchanal ensembles travelled to Virginia Beach to compete in the prestigious International PANFest from May 5-8, 2022. 

The bands performed in front of a panel of five distinguished adjudicators from Trinidad, St. Vincent, Canada, and the United States and brought home two silver medals and two giant trophies.

They competed against some of the best bands in the country, met new friends, and had a wonderful time. Both ensembles played with their signature fire and passion on the competition stage and they conducted themselves with grace and class onstage and off. 

The bands are very proud to have represented Leon High and Tallahassee, at this prestigious event. And we are incredibly grateful for all of the support from our administration, faculty, parents, and the Leon Steel Band community.
